PANCAI’s first tunnel kiln was fired in Miaoli in 1978 and ran for 31 years. The current roller-hearth lines fire cleaner and flatter, but the craft standard is the same one the founders set: a tile that leaves this plant should never come back on a warranty claim.

The export trade taught the plant rectification — cutting every fired tile to size so grout lines run true on large formats. That ±0.2 mm discipline is why architects specify PANCAI when the drawing calls for 3 mm joints.
