Since 1984
A forge that stamps its own name — and yours.
TIESHAN opened in 1984 as a drop forge in Tainan, hammering blanks for other brands. The first tool stamped with its own name — a 10-inch adjustable wrench — shipped in 1991, and cracked in Detroit six months later. The metallurgist hired to explain that failure stayed eleven years and rewrote the heat-treat spec.
That lesson became the house rule: harden to the middle of the spec band, test every batch to the standard’s limit, and warranty the tool for life without asking for a receipt. Today the plant runs both programs — own-brand and private-label — on the same forges and the same rule.
